Daniel grew up on a farm learned the art of hard work and started building for fun at 10 years old and went on to start a construction company in his 20's after working at several other construction companies and going to Confederation Collage. And has now worked on, built and fixed roughly 5% of the city and surrounding area where he was born. Daniel is a guardian of progress in our area and has given back many times in many ways. Some notable achievements as owner of SKAARUP CONTRACTING are winning Thunder Bays Strongest Man Championships 3 times in under 200 lbs. Having the 1st book he wrote featured in the New York Times and winning a Northern Ontario Visionary Award ( top 20 most successful people in Northwestern Ontario under 40 years old) in 2014 from the Chamber of commerce.
